The rollholz Base is manufactured by us in Germany – Handmade in Germany. The base plate consists of birch plywood with matching wood veneer. The metal parts are also produced in Germany.

The metal parts are powder-coated and thus very resistant. To ensure a long lifespan, it is sufficient to keep them dry and avoid permanently standing moisture.
The wooden parts are also easy to care for and do not require any special treatment – if necessary, they can be lightly oiled to refresh the natural grain. For heavier soiling, light sanding and subsequent re-oiling are sufficient.

Wood types
The handles of our Base are made in the Black Forest from selected woods –
beech, cherry and oak come from sustainable forestry in the Black Forest,
walnut from Europe.
The base plate consists of sturdy birch plywood (mostly from Scandinavia)
and is finished with a high-quality real wood veneer – for maximum stability
and a natural look.
Cherry wood is characterized by its warm, slightly reddish hue. Its fine grain looks elegant and brings a pleasant warmth to the overall appearance.
Oak is characterized by its distinctive grain and warm color tone. It gives the base a powerful and distinctive look.
Vintage is based on oak, but it is oiled darker, giving it a deeper, more expressive look with a slightly rustic character.
European Walnut captivates with its dark, noble shade and elegant grain. For a particularly high-quality and high-contrast look.
