How to use

Even a single yoga block can make a big difference. It brings the floor closer, supports the hand, allows an upright spine in positions where you would otherwise collapse - and makes exercises accessible that would otherwise be out of reach without a block. Wood is the material of choice here: it doesn't give way, doesn't deform, and stays in shape for years. Anyone who starts with one block will quickly realize that two open up even more possibilities.

Here's how you can use the yoga block:

Yoga – support: Make exercises accessible where flexibility or strength is still lacking – e.g., in standing forward bends or when sitting on the block for an upright spine.
Yoga – intensify: Make individual asanas more challenging – e.g., Trikonasana or Ardha Chandrasana.
Strength Training: As a stable elevation for push-ups, lunges, or deadlifts for a greater range of motion.
Mobilization & Stretching: Stable base for guided stretching positions and joint mobilization.

Material & origin

The rollholz yoga block is made from high-quality alder from the Black Forest and is FSC-certified.

The whole thing is made in our workshop in Freiburg – from the first cut to the final sanding.

The result is a durable, natural product with short transport routes and a clear focus on quality and sustainability.

Care

Our products are easy to care for – in the most literal sense: they need none. Their longevity doesn't suffer if you simply never bother. They last a lifetime – and can be handed down without a problem.

If you do want to treat your product to something, just rub it with a little oil – that brings the natural grain back out beautifully. For heavier marks, sand it lightly beforehand.

The smooth surface is easy to clean and disinfect – ideal for professional therapy use. Wipe it down or disinfect it when needed, let it dry briefly, done.
